1000 MILES CYCLING CHALLENGE
To raise funds towards our Wales residential trip this summer and our amazing 2024 Summer activities, we are asking all children who attend our groups at the hub, or off site to get involved with this challenging 1000 mile static bike challenge at the AHFO hub.
We are hoping that around 50 children will pull together as a team and smash the 1000 mile target in just over a month. The event will start on Tuesday 30th January and finish on Sunday 3rd March 2024.
We will work around children's schedules and fit them in whenever is best over the month to complete their miles. If we have 50 children signed up then they will have to cycle 20 miles each over the month. If any parents would like to chip away at a few miles you are more than welcome!!!
The challenge is a great way to show the kids that in life things don't just happen without some personal effort and determination our our part. This also shows the power of people working together towards a shared common goal. And of course it's a perfect opportunity to help increase fitness and health.
Once you book on we will be in touch to arrange a suitable time slot for the challenge.
