LIFE TIME MEMORIES MADE.

Once again our kids summer group has been an incredible success and we are only just over half way through!  The first day was a workshop at our new hub where we spoke with the group about the importance of community, unity, kindness, respect and team work.  We also asked the children to come up with their own set of rules they wanted to see during the 6 weeks of activities. 'Respect each other' 'no bullying' 'no racism' 'be kind' 'help each other' 'don't leave anybody out' all brilliant rules the children came out with themselves.

The second day was a day of fun and games at the hub including sing offs between the boys and girls and then a trip to Edge lane bowling alley where the group enjoyed an afternoon ten pin bowling.

Day 3 was a coach trip to Wigan Woodland park where we had tonnes of fun playing footgolf, football, British bulldog and the kids ran all that energy off in the brilliant play area.  It was great to see all the kids being kids and running themselves into the ground.

Day 4 we went to Delamere Forest in beautiful summer sunshine and blue skies to spend the day doing outdoor survival and team building exercises delivered by a great feller Dave Bould (Bould adventures) who gave his day up for the kids. The kids worked in teams building outdoor shelters, designed and drawing camp flags and a lovely stroll under the trees around the lake.

Day 5 was our annual Summer family beach day at the beautiful red rock beach in Hoylake. Once again the weather was perfect for a day at the beach, the kids played in the water, we played badminton, football, frisbie and a huge game of boys v girls rounders.  Our lovely friend Amanda Williams from Zoti project came and joined us where she delivered a brilliant holistic session which included some hilarious belly laughter yoga, energy tapping, meditation and ecstatic dance! Even families in the area joined in with us and loved every minute!

Our groups continue next week with top Liverpool female DJ Billie Clements giving her day to run group DJing sessions with the kids and then a day of football and boxing coaching delivered by our good friends Kirkdale boxing club and 7 Elite Academy.
