Every time we have our children's half term groups so many heart warming moments happen. We absolutely love seeing all of them and the friendships that have formed over the last year. AHFO is more than a charity, it's a family and something stood out during our group that summed this up. On the way home after the first day a 12 year old girl who hasn’t long lost her lovely mum to cancer asked the 3 younger girls in the car who are also going through tough times what their favourite colours were. The next morning when Suzi Cain picked them up the 12 year old who was really tired pulled out 3 lovely bracelets she had made for the other girls with little jewels on in the kids favourite colours. She had been up until the early hours making sure she finished them for the other girls. I thought that summed up everything we have worked to create over the years.
