Today we gave a little surprise to a really brave 8 year old boy who has been through a unbelievably tough time. Louis Henry who has in the last year seen his legs deteriorate to the point he was unable to walk. Louis has been in Alder Hey this week where he had a huge 6 hour operation on both legs which will eventually see him be able to walk and run again.

Louis has Cerebral Palsy and plays for CP UTD football team, his absolute passion is Liverpool FC.

Through the week we got in touch with Liverpool player Trent Alexandra-Arnold’s mum to see if he’d come with us to meet Louis, once Trent heard about Louis’ story he really wanted to meet him and give him a boost after such a hard week and being in so much pain.

Louis is on the mend but faces a long road to recovery, he is an absolute character and so brave. Trent has promised Louis that he will go to his street for a kick around as soon as Louis is back on his feet!!

It was an honour to meet such a lovely kid and family and see the great work Alder Hey Hospital does for sick children.

Thanks Diane and Trent you made a little lad happy today xx
